Additional overnight lane and ramp closures are scheduled tonight on I-65 on the southeast side of Indianapolis for project area improvements. Closures initially planned for this weekend will happen at a later date.
Wednesday, June 4 | 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Ramp from Morris Street to southbound I-65 closed
- Southbound I-65 reduced to one lane between Morris Street and Troy Avenue
Beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, the right lane on northbound Keystone Avenue is scheduled to close between National Avenue and East Werges Avenue to maintain pedestrian access. This lane is expected to reopen in August.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers should plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Construction Speed Limit Now Active
The construction zone speed limit is now active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
