Overnight lane restrictions and short-term stoppages are scheduled on I-65 in southeast Indianapolis overnight Friday to allow crews to install overhead signs between Shelby and Raymond streets.
Drivers can expect the following restrictions:
Friday, July 10 (9 p.m. Friday — 5 a.m. Saturday)
- Southbound I-65 reduced to one lane between Shelby Street and Raymond Street
- Up to 20-minute stoppages beginning just after midnight on all lanes of northbound I-65 between Raymond Street and Shelby Street
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
