I-465 ramps to northbound I-65 closed tonight

Indianapolis, IN (May 19, 2025) – The I-465 ramps to northbound I-65 will be closed overnight for crews to finish pavement markings on I-65.

  • Ramp from eastbound I-465 to northbound I-65
  • Ramp from westbound I-465 to northbound I-65

Both ramps are scheduled to be closed at 10 p.m. Monday through 2 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic will be detoured to the southbound I-65 ramp, where drivers can turn around at Southport Road to access northbound I-65.

Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. 

Construction Speed Limit Now Active 
The construction zone speed limit is now active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
