Lane restrictions are scheduled overnight Wednesday and Thursday on I-65 in southeast Indianapolis. Crews are refreshing pavement markings to maintain safety and clarity for drivers.
Drivers can expect the following restrictions from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
Wednesday, Feb. 18
- Southbound I-65 reduced to one lane between the I-65/I-70 interchange and Keystone Avenue
Thursday, Feb. 19
- Southbound I-65 reduced to one lane between the I-65/I-70 interchange and the I-65/I-465 interchange
- Northbound I-65 reduced to one lane between the I-65/I-465 interchange and the I-65/I-70 interchange
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
