Crews are pouring a new bridge deck on the northbound I-65 bridge over Morris and Prospect streets this week as part of the I-65 Safety and Efficiency project in southeast Indianapolis.
Morris and Prospect streets are scheduled to close under I-65 during the pour.
Wednesday, May 6 (8 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- Morris Street and Prospect Street closed between the I-65 entrance and exit ramps
Drivers should plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
