I-65 Safety and Efficiency crews are moving the work zone on northbound I-65 between Fletcher Avenue and Washington Street as pavement replacement progress continues.
Overnight lane and ramp closures are scheduled to shift traffic.
Saturday, Oct. 3 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- Ramp from northbound I-65 to Washington Street closed
- Northbound I-65 reduced to one lane between Fletcher Avenue and Washington Street
After the overnight work, northbound I-65 will return to three lanes of traffic.
Pavement replacement remains on track for completion late this year. Drivers should continue to use caution when driving through the work zone.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
