Indianapolis, Ind. (August 28, 2025) – Overnight lane and ramp closures are scheduled tonight on I-65 on the southeast side of Indianapolis for critical guardrail repairs.
Thursday, Aug. 28 | 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Southbound I-65 reduced to one lane between Hanna Avenue and the I-65/I-70 interchange
Thursday, Aug. 28 | 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-65 closed
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers should plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit is active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
