Indianapolis, Ind. (Sept. 22, 2025) – An overnight lane closure is scheduled this week on southbound I-65 in southeast Indianapolis. A portion of I-65 southbound will be reduced to one lane to demolish barrier wall.
Wednesday, Sept. 24 through Friday, Sept. 26 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night)

Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
