Lane closures are scheduled overnight on northbound I-65 in southeast Indianapolis as crews work to reopen existing lanes south of the I-65/I-465 interchange.
Beginning Saturday morning, May 16, drivers on northbound I-65 approaching the I-65/I-465 interchange will see additional lanes open to traffic as crews restore the roadway to its existing lane configuration in the area.
Drivers can expect the following restrictions from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15
- Northbound I-65 reduced to one lane between Edgewood Avenue and Keystone Avenue
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
