Rolling lane closures are scheduled overnight Thursday on northbound and southbound I-65 in southeast Indianapolis to allow crews to install pavement markings.
Rolling closures are expected between I-465 and I-70 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane as work moves along the corridor.
Ramp Closures
Two ramp closures are scheduled to begin next week:
- Ramp from Calvary Street to northbound I-65 to close around 9 p.m. on or after Monday, March 16
- Ramp from Washington Street to southbound I-65 to close around 9 p.m. on or after Wednesday, March 18
Both ramps are expected to reopen late this fall.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
