Overnight ramp and lane restrictions on I-65 tonight

Ramp and lane restrictions are scheduled overnight Tuesday on I-65 in southeast Indianapolis for guardrail repairs and other work.

Drivers can expect the following restrictions:

Tuesday, Feb. 3

  • Northbound I-65 reduced to one lane between Raymond Street and the I-65/I-70 interchange (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • Ramp from northbound I-65 to northbound I-65 over Morris and Prospect streets closed (11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

Local Street Closures

Planned local street closures were postponed due to the weather. Closures are scheduled to resume this week and next week so crews can safely widen I-65 overpass bridges.

  • East Pleasant Run Parkway North Drive (eastbound lane) is scheduled to close on or after Wednesday, Feb. 4 between Olive and Linden streets and is expected to reopen in March.
  • Naomi Street (both directions) is scheduled to close on or after Monday, Feb. 16 between Olive and Linden streets. It is expected to reopen in March.

Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.

Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
