I-65 Safety and Efficiency crews are moving traffic to new pavement on northbound I-65 between Pleasant Run and the I-65/I-70 interchange. Restrictions will be needed overnight on Tuesday to complete the shift and allow crews to operate safely.
The following closures are scheduled:
Tuesday, Nov. 25 and Wednesday, Nov. 26
- Ramp from northbound I-65 to westbound I-70 (12 a.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday)
- Northbound I-65 reduced to one lane between Pleasant Run and the I-65/I-70 interchange (9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday)
Drivers should plan ahead and consider alternate routes.
Closures are weather dependent. Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
