No weekend closures are planned the following weekend due to NCAA Final Four in men’s basketball, but two additional closures are expected in April.
Keystone Ramp Closure Reminder
Beginning around 6 a.m. on or after Monday, March 30, the ramp from Keystone Avenue to southbound I-65 is scheduled to close for improvements. Crews will mill off old asphalt on the ramp and replace it with new material. The ramp is expected to reopen in late June, weather permitting.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes, when possible. Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
Construction Speed Limit Active
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
