Friday, Jan. 16 | 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-65 closed (beginning at midnight)
- Southbound I-65 reduced to one lane between the I-65/I-70 interchange and Troy Avenue
Local Street Closures
Local street closures are currently in place in southeast Indianapolis so crews can safely widen the I-65 bridges over them.
- Naomi Street (both directions) is scheduled to close on or after Monday, Feb. 9 between Olive Street and Linden Street. It is expected to reopen in March.
- East Pleasant Run Parkway South Drive (eastbound lane) is closed between Olive Street and Linden Street and is expected to reopen in March.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers should plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
